My educational preparation began at Southeastern Oklahoma State University (SOSU) in Durant, Oklahoma. My undergraduate degree as well as graduate degree in school counseling are both from SOSU. Personally, this area is very special to me because I met my husband during our undergraduate time at SOSU! 

After my graduate training at SOSU, I began my career in education and have worked in a variety of roles in the public education sector. Roles such as general educator, school counselor, behavior specialist, special education counselor, ARD facilitator, in-home trainer, and participating member of the autism diagnostic team. I would not trade for any of these experiences! Each one taught me effective collaboration skills, multi-tiered systems, policies, procedures and mandates of our public school systems. 

During my time in public education, I was fortunate enough to have a student who displayed many of the characteristics of ASD. He taught me some valuable lessons, the most significant being that I needed more knowledge and skills to effectively help learners exhibiting behavioral excesses and challenges. Fortunately, the University of North Texas (UNT) offered specialized graduate programs in the science of ABA. I am forever grateful for the opportunity that I had to study at UNT. 

All of my training and background experiences have led me to opening my own ABA business. I believe my training and experience in both fields of counseling and ABA complement each other. 

I firmly believe in the Bible verse "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (8:28) and know that God has called me to the purpose of serving our clients, families, and communities, in delivering the most effective behavior change services available. 

Dr. Cosentino is our Licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist with sixteen years of experience in the mental health field. In her own words....

I have a great passion for helping children, adults, and families, to find the most effective and individualized care possible to assist with meeting their goals. No single approach is the right one for every individual. I have been highly trained to assess for each individual's needs.

I have over 10 years of experience specifically in assessing children, adolescents, and adults for autism spectrum disorder and I am also skilled in evaluating for differential diagnoses. I also have 10 years of experience providing expert testimony for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, congenital disorder, strokes, and for competency.

My educational background includes an MA in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University and a Doctor in clinical Psychology, Psy.D., from Argosy University. I have a B.A. from DePaul University in Chicago, IL with a major in psychology.

Hello! My name is Mykaela Lara and I have been in the ABA field for 8 years. I started out as an RBT and then became a BCBA. 

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Abilene Christian University and then completed my Master's of Applied Psychology from Angelo State University. I then finished up at Texas A&M where I completed my Applied Behavior Analysis Certification. 

I took a job as a flight attendant at Delta Airlines in 2019 where I met my soon-to-be husband at our job interview! We just welcomed our first baby in December of 2022. I am passionate about serving individuals and families with disabilities and love people! In my free time I love traveling, camping, playing sports, cooking, listening to music, and hanging out with my big family!
